About
Will the beauty be adored…???
From time immemorial, with lusturous beauty, India!
The dazzling adolescence, the natural attraction,
Had fallen a victim of brutal ecstasies…
The Greeks, the Moghals, the French,
The Ghaznis, the Ghoris, the Portuguese,
The Chinese, the English and on… and on…
Exploiting every flesh, excavating every cell,
Rampaging the beauty, the scars remain,
As graves and tombs in “wonder” disguise.
Rebounding the assaults, the beauty begins to shine,
Regaining the pride, outlook and esteem,
Displaying glory, the glamour still remain,
But the beauty never left in joyous serene…
Not over yet, the politics & terrorism taking their turns,
In their intercourse, the ecstasy reached,
Bleeding the head, the leg, the hand, and the body,
The ever submissive beauty chewed and spat,
And again, and again, and again, As always,
The thirst quenched, the desires fulfilled.
The beauty rises again, hopes still remain,
There’s still a sunrise, still a day more…
Oh, Mother India,
Would your life ever, be left in peace?
Will your beauty ever adored, than assaulted?
The Prologue
There was once a country that was actually a paradise on this earth. The richest country ever that none other could match in the world. That every sailor wanted to visit. That every man had dreamt of living in. That every king had an ambition to conquer. It had everything that the whole earth had. The montains, plains, plateaus, rivers, oceans, minerals, ecosystem and what not.
It was the epicenter for culture & civilization. When the rest of the world were still nomads, it had its people living in beautifully constructed houses. When the world started living in groups, it had empires built. When the world traded by exchanging items, it had currencies. When the word counted in fingers, it calculated exponents. When the world still learnt counting, it gave algebra and geometry. When the world learnt to communicate, it had literatures written. When the world saw this earth as flat, it gave books on the earth and the planets. When the earth still tried to treat small wounds, it did surgeries. When the world was discovering science, science was already a part of the living there. It had a most developed warfare and army when the world was still learning to fight. The world learnt arts from that country. It taught politics and had books on it.
Sounds familiar? It should, no matter to which country you belong. Either you should be a living there or you should be knowing it. It is INDIA that I am speaking about. Once an epicenter of development and culture and the richest and largest country in the world, was torn to pieces by continuous invasions and greed. It was robbed all its riches and pushed to be the poorest of countries. Still struggling to get up by itself after all the assault.
Why are we here?
This is the country which taught politics to the world. This is the country which wrote books on politics and effective ruling. But Arthasastra and Thirukkural are seen only as literatures and not as a dharma to be followed. After many years here is our Prime Minister that envisions our country in all grandeur in another 25 years. Sounds quite ambitious but it is still achievable. After all, this is the country that taught civilization to the world. However, Government alone cannot achieve this. It needs everyone of our contribution to realise that dream.
While most of us would not be able to contribute actively, we can still pool our resources and help in anyway we can. Small drops make an ocean. We at Evolve India, try to discuss the politics and administration, through constructive criticism.
